I found this really fun -- a couple of Stanford historical linguists debunking the conclusions of a computer model for the evolution of Indo-European languages, and examining the news media's habit of embracing and hyping bad science. I enjoyed the whole thing. It's for when you have about a hour, and maybe some popcorn, and are ready to watch some relentless, scathing academic criticism of fellow academics who, like, for instance, totally and impudently GERRYMANDERED the map of the Eurasian sprachraum of the Tocharians!
